Frito Bandito

Ryan and Addie have this little song they sing together. It's genesis was from the Frito Bandito song that Kathy sings sometimes to us.


When Ryan sings it to her, she sings it back with a hearty "aye yi yi yi" and we all laugh.


We really need to get it on video.



Now to be honest, I'm tempted to change the words to match Dylan and all his friend's love for cheetos. It'd work, don't you think?

Update: Got a video in the car of Addie singing her little song. Nevermind the turbulence. I was sitting in the FAR back of the car and it sure was a bumpy ride.

I Saw God Today

Have you heard this song yet? It's beautiful. The very end of the song made me cry.
Perhaps it is these post-partum hormones. But perhaps it's just a lovely song that touched my heart...

Godspeed, little man

Julie sent me this bedtime lullabye for little boys. Love it.

And here you can hear it sung by the Dixie Chicks.

(And I think baby girl loves it too, as she was kicking a bunch while I played it.)

Pandora

A friend of mine told me about possibly the coolest website EVER tonight. It is called Pandora and is basically a website that you can register with for FREE that creates personalized internet-based radio stations via a 'music genome' project. You type in your favorite artists and songs and it creates stations that match that type of music interest for you, saved to your profile. I tried it and love it. Hooked already. Trust me, if you like music at all, you'll love it too.
If you haven't gotten a present from me this year and haven't heard of this yet, consider it my Christmas present to you!
